Elvis Rankin Wins Road Course World Championship

Evergreen Colorado’s Elvis Rankin won the Bandolero class World Championship at the US Legends Cars International and INEX Road Course Series World Finals at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday. Driving his #54 Bandolero, the 11 year old driver set fast time in qualifying and drove to the win in both the Bandit class and overall. Racing on a track that he was very familiar with - having won the 2018 Silver States Road Course Championships earlier in the year - Elvis was very strong throughout the event.
Elvis noted “Chuck Deguevara gave me a very good car and challenged me to go out and push myself. I felt like I was in control for most of the race and enjoyed having an opportunity to be back making right and left hand turns”.
